Dr. Daley specializes in providing integrated medication and psychotherapy treatment. For therapy, he uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic therapy modalities. Symptom scales are used to help review progress at regular intervals. For medication, he will provide you a range of options and educate you on potential risks and benefits of each option.
The first few sessions serve as a consultation for Dr. Daley to understand your situation and formulate an assessment and treatment recommendations. This may include laboratory testing, pharmacogenomic testing, health record review, talking to a loved one, talking to a prior/current provider and anything else that you think would be helpful. From there he will work with you to design an individualized treatment plan that may include medication and/or psychotherapy, or additional referrals/studies.
Optimal mental health care understands and treats both the mind and brain. Dr. Daley is trained in advanced psychopharmacology as well as several psychotherapy modalities. His approach is evidence-based, meaning that he employs practices that have the best data from peer reviewed literature. He has taught on these topics for medical students and residents on the University level, and he brings that knowledge into your clinical care.
Dr. Daley has two locations to meet in person: Menlo Park and Scotts Valley. The Menlo Park location is located near Stanford University. The Scotts Valley location is a short drive off Highway 17.
